                                                                   American Indian

These are 16" by 20" watercolor pencil paintings that were entered into the Mary Free Bed  art show.  I found out recently out that the mane of my art is Hyperrealism.  It is a form of art were the picture is so realistic it looks like a photo.  Someone told me this and when I looked it up on Google sure  enough that's what it is.

Hyperrealism is a genre of painting and sculpture resembling a high-resolution photograph. Hyperrealism is considered an advancement of Photorealism by the methods used to create the resulting paintings or sculptures. The term is primarily applied to an independent art movement and art style in the United States and Europe that has developed since the early 1970s.

In other words you paint like it is a photo.
