I was taking a short road trip this summer and a whole field of these flowers suddenly appeared as I rounded the hill I was on. They were so beautiful that I stopped and looked at them for a while. As is typical I had my camera with me and stamped a few pictures. I can still feel the warmth of that summer day. This is a 12" by 16" watercolor painting on canvas. It sells for $125.00 matted in a 16" by 20 " matte.
