This is Spc. Joseph Thomas Prentler. He joined the Army to follow in his grandfathers footsteps. He was the type of person who loved to make people laugh. He was the type of guy who was concerned more about others than himself. He had completed the Calvary training and was very proud of this accomplishment. He died in Afghanistan on 10/4/2010 at the age of twenty. The watercolor pencil painting on canvas of him can be seen Sept. 21 through Oct. 9 at Art Prize 2011.
